Horst Naumann
Horst Naumann (born November 17, 1925 in Dresden ) is a German actor and voice actor who has appeared in over 80 film and television productions. He played one of his longest-lived and best-known roles between 1986 and 2010 as Dr. Horst Schröder in the ZDF series Das Traumschiff .
Career
The trained actor Naumann has been working on various German theaters since 1946 when he made his screen debut in the role of NCO "Heinz Kersten" in the DEFA feature film The Mysterious Wreck . Further film and television productions followed, initially for DEFA and from 1958, with the move to the Federal Republic of Germany, for West German employers. He gained fame through his roles as Dr. Römer in the television series Die Schwarzwaldklinik and as ship's doctor Dr. Schröder in the series The Dream Ship .
Horst Naumann became very popular as early as the 1960s through television. He played leading roles in the popular television series Clouds over Kaprun (1964), At Home (1966) and Room 13 (1967).
He also lent as voice actor Patrick McGoohan ( number 6 ), Ben Johnson ( Getaway ), Pierre Brice ( The Gangster's Doll ), Christopher Plummer ( The Pink Panther Returns ), Anthony Zerbe ( James Bond 007 - License to Kill ) and Kevin Hagen ( Our Little Farm ) his voice.
In the radio play area he also worked for the Europa label in the 1980s. Here he spoke, among other things, the narrator of the series Masters Of The Universe , Hanni and Nanni, Das Schloss-Trio and She-Ra as well as smaller roles in the radio plays Barbie , TKKG and in The Three Question Marks .
Since he took on the lead role in the radio play The Screaming Skull based on a model by Francis Marion Crawford in 2012 , he has been part of the recurring ensemble of 'Titania Medien'. He was also in the setting of Bulemann's house by Theodor Storm for their radio play series Gruselkabinett in 2019 alongside u. a. Claudia Urbschat-Mingues and Dagmar von Kurmin can be heard in the main roles.
Private life
Horst Naumann was married to Christa von Arvedi from 1954 until her death in 2003. On August 12, 2010, he married his manager Martina Linn, who was 34 years his junior and head of the cabaret theater Die Column in Duisburg . In 2005 he published his autobiography, Between Beacon and Dream Ship .
