Steffi Schmidt (born January 13, 1968 in Staßfurt ) is a former German volleyball player .

Steffi Schmidt was a multiple GDR national player. In 1987 she became European Champion in Belgium . In 1988 she took part with the GDR national volleyball team at the Olympic Games in Seoul , where she finished fifth. Steffi Schmidt played in the GDR for the Berlin TSC and after the reunification for CJD Feuerbach .
