Stein Eric Tveiten (born June 15, 1961 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Tveiten jumped on January 26, 1980 for the first time in the ski jumping World Cup . When jumping on the large hill in Zakopane , Poland , he reached 8th place and thus a total of eight World Cup points. At the end of the 1979/80 World Cup season he was able to occupy 76th place in the overall standings with these 8 points. In the following season 1980/81 he jumped in the jumping in Chamonix and Saint-Nizier and jumped into the points both times. By winning 17 World Cup points, he finished 42nd in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the season. After the season, however, despite this success, he ended his active ski jumping career, but was still active at the national level for a few years.
