The mountain lake is a lake in the park stone mountain park in the district of Wittenau in Berlin 's Reinickendorf district . The Steinbergsee is almost 1 hectare in size, has a length of approx. 200 meters and a width of around 50 meters.
The Packereigraben forms the inlet and outlet of the Steinbergsee. The lake has to be cleaned by sedimentation of sand and other substances and the deposited substances have to be removed. The eponymous Steinberg is located on the northern bank of the Steinbergsee . From there a small waterfall flows into the lake. The water of the waterfall is fed by pumps from the Steinbergsee. On the north bank of the Steinbergsee at the mouth of the waterfall there is an enclosed lake terrace with stairs to the lake.
