Stone foil
Stone foil is a PVC foil that is glued on one side and over the entire area with fine pebbles , which is reinforced by an additional fabric insert. Stone foil is used in gardening and landscaping to design artificial streams or to form the edge of garden ponds . There, a pond liner is used as a substrate to protect against leaks . The stone overlay or stone foil should camouflage the sealing foil , usually the stone foil itself is camouflaged with a few stones (because the uniform grain size looks a bit "artificial"), but by using a stone foil, fewer cover stones can be used.
The stone foil is mostly marketed as roll goods . The stones can have different colors and diameters.
