architecture

It is a half-timbered house from the 18th century. The infill on the street-side facade is made of brick masonry. The clay infill has been preserved in the rear area. Presumably the facade facing the cul-de-sac was added in brick in the 19th century. The half-timbered building has largely been preserved in its original form and, in terms of building development, is in an overall urban context with other half-timbered buildings from the 18th century on Steinstrasse. The half-timbered house meets the criteria of § 2 DSchG NW for entry in the list of monuments . It is important for human history and for cities and settlements. There are scientific, especially architectural reasons for its preservation and use.
