Stephan Haupt (born June 1, 1970 in Kleve ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament since 2017 .

Life

After attending school in Kleve, Stephan Haupt first completed an apprenticeship as a road attendant, later advanced training as a construction technician and finally a distance learning course in technical business administration.

politics

Haupt joined the FDP in 1999. He is a member of the Bedburg-Hau Council and the Rhineland Regional Assembly . In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , Haupt received a mandate from his party's state list. As in the 2010 state elections, he also ran for election in the Kleve II state electoral district , where he received 9.1% of the first votes (5.5% in 2010).
