Rimkai is a village in the Kulva District in Jonava Rajongmn , Kaunas District , Lithuania , west of Jonava City . There is an old Orthodox cemetery and a Church of the Nativity . It belongs to the Old Orthodox Pomoran Church .
history
Rimkai has been known as a settlement in the Vilnius Voivodeship of what was then the Republic of Both Nations since the 18th century . In the Soviet era , the place belonged to the Jonava Rajon and before that the Wolost Jonava . The eastern part of the village became the microrajon Rimkai of the municipality .
