Stephan M. Wagner

Stephan M. Wagner (* 1969 ) is a German logistics scientist. He is a professor of business administration and holds the chair for logistics management at the ETH Zurich .

Life

Before working at ETH Zurich, he was Professor of Logistics Management at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management . After completing his professional training as a banker and studying business administration in Germany and the USA , he worked in corporate practice for almost 10 years. First as a consultant and senior manager at an international management consultancy and later as head of corporate supply chain management at a Swiss technology group. Doctorate and habilitation took place at the University of St. Gallen .

In the Handelsblatt Betriebswirte Ranking 2009, which analyzes the research performance of 2,100 business economists in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland based on the quality of publications since 2005, it came in 10th.
