Stephan Otto Horn
Stephan Otto Horn (born September 7, 1934 in Isny ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian.
Life
Horn joined after high school in the Society of the Divine Savior ( Salvatorian ) that was consecrated in 1960 in Passau priest, received his doctorate in Munich in 1966 to Dr. theol. and was from 1972 to 1977 assistant to Joseph Ratzinger in Regensburg. In 1978 he received his habilitation. From 1981 to 1986 he was Professor of Dogmatics in Augsburg, and from 1986 to 1999 Professor of Fundamental Theology in Passau. He is the spokesman for Pope Benedict XVI's group of students.
