Stephan Scholtissek

Stephan Scholtissek (* 1959 ) is a writer in the field of economics , holds a PhD in biochemistry and is the CEO of an international IT training company.

Studies and career

Scholtissek studied from 1979 to 1984 at the TU Hannover and from 1985 to 1987 at the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine Göttingen.

After 1987, Scholtissek began working for the medical technology company Dräger in the research department and in 1991 switched to management consulting at AT Kearney and Bain & Company . He then went to Accenture in 1997 and took over the management of Accenture Germany six years later. In 2006 he was appointed chairman of the Accenture country group Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2011 Scholtissek moved to the international IT training company New Horizons as managing partner .

Scholtissek is considered an expert in innovation, major transformations and the opportunities of globalization for Germany as a business location.

Scholtissek is involved in providing career information for high school students in the Munich Rotary Clubs . In schools, at vocational training fairs, and at their own events, Rotarians report on their professional experiences and provide internships and apprenticeships, if available.
