Stephan Siemer
Stephan Siemer (born October 21, 1961 in Vechta ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2008 .
Life
Siemer graduated from high school in Vechta in 1981 and then studied business administration at the University of Passau and the University of Cologne . After studying abroad at Pennsylvania State University in the United States and the French CERAM, he completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 1986. In 1991 the doctorate to Dr. rer. pole. at the Technical University of Darmstadt . Between 1986 and 2002 he held various professional activities. He has been the owner of August Siemer Landhandel eK since 2002
politics
Siemer joined the CDU in 1981 and soon became deputy chairman of the CDU city association in Vechta. Since 2006 he has been a councilor of the city of Vechta and also a member of the district council in the district of Vechta. Siemer is a member of the board of the Oldenburger Münsterland eV association and the Oldenburger Münsterland professional academy. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the Vechta constituency . Since 2017 he has been spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for federal and European affairs.
