Stephanie Rose (politician)

Stephanie Franziska Rose (* 1988 ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) from Hamburg .

biography

education and profession

Rose studied social economics at the University of Hamburg and European economics at the University of Abertay Dundee . She was a scholarship holder of the Hans Böckler Foundation and received her doctorate in economics at the University of Hamburg in 2017 with a thesis on "The reproductive regime: Securing work and vitality between efficiency and resilience". She then took on a job as a gender equality officer at Hamburg's HafenCity University . She is married and has one child.

politics

Rose has been a member of Die Linke since 2015. Since May 2019 she has been a member of the district assembly in the Hamburg-Mitte district . In the election for the Hamburg citizenship in 2020 , she received a list mandate.

In addition to party politics, she was active for many years in the student council , in the working group on alternative economic policy and as a union member in the GEW . Her main topics are "social inequalities" and a "gender-equitable redesign of work".
