Stephen Odubola (born June 14, 1990 in London ) is a British film actor .

Life

Stephen Odubola was born in London in 1990 and grew up in Kennington. His parents are from Nigeria. He said he could easily have gotten into the gang culture that had developed on his doorstep in South London, but his brother had a good influence on him during his “kidulthood”. After graduating from high school, he attended Identity Drama School and also earned a degree in Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in case his dream of becoming an actor should not work out.

After appearing in two short films and a small supporting role at the age of 18 years in Legend of Tarzan by David Yates Odubola won both Micheal Ward , the second lead role in Andrew Onwubolus thriller Blue Story , which was released in the UK in November of 2019. Because Odubola, like the protagonist he played, Timmy, grew up in South East London, he was very familiar with the circumstances under which the character grew up, and like them, he himself comes from a loving environment. Odubola received consistently positive reviews for his role as Timmy in Blue Story , particularly for transforming a gentle teenager into a violent gang member.

In the TV series Holby City produced by the BBC, he plays Owen, the protagonist's friend.
