The Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and Racism ( Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Anti-Semitism and racism is) a research institute of the University of Tel Aviv in Israel . It collects and offers information on manifestations and theories of anti-Semitism and racism. The focus is on the exploitation of these phenomena in social and political discourse since the end of the Second World War and the influence of the historical background.

History and work

The institute was founded in the fall of 1991 as a project to research anti-Semitism . It is located in the Vienna Library Tel Aviv, it houses one of the world's most comprehensive collections of documents on fascist regimes and movements as well as anti-Semitism. The institute is open to visitors and cooperates with foreign universities.
