Stephen Wilcox

Stephen Wilcox (born February 12, 1830 in Westerly , Rhode Island , † November 27, 1893 ) is together with George Babcock the inventor of the water tube boiler .

Common US patent 65,042 has been evaluated by Babcock & Wilcox Company.

On June 16, 1997, both were inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame .
