The Schaffhausen Observatory is an observatory in Schaffhausen . It is maintained by the Schaffhausen Natural Research Society .

The Schaffhausen observatory was opened in 2012 and has replaced the over 60-year-old observatory on the Steig. In addition to smaller telescopes, it has a Newtonian reflector with a 40 cm mirror diameter. A modern digital planetarium with 25 seats is integrated, in which films can also be shown in 360 °. A training room with the “Astro-Bar” offers space for around 35 people.
