Steven Brian Fera (born May 7, 1960 in Canada ) is a German entrepreneur and a public figure in Hesse. He is the founder and managing director of the Wicom group of companies , which has several companies worldwide, including WICOM Scientific Inc. in Toronto / Canada, WICOM International in Maienfeld / Switzerland and WICOM Eslab based in Swidnica (formerly Schweidnitz) / Poland .

Life

After attending grammar school , Fera studied chemistry at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , which he completed in 1988 with a doctorate at the Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Biochemistry. In 1985 he founded the company WICOM Brian Fera GbR, a company for the implementation of numerous projects in the areas of process control, sales and marketing control through independent software development. Trading in and manufacturing of chromatography accessories. In 1994 the company became WICOM Germany GmbH. renamed. WICOM Germany GmbH sells spare parts and consumables in the field of separation technology with a focus on gas and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). WICOM Germany GmbH employs 15 people and generates an annual turnover of 5 million euros . Fera has been the managing director of USP Pharma GmbH since 2000. Since 2001 he has been a partner at Morvay Analytic GmbH in Basel .

Fera is married and has two children. Fera has been Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia for the consular district of Hesse since October 2012 . In 2008 he founded the Initiative Wirtschaft und Ehrenamt. It promotes responsible economic behavior and commitment to volunteering, which Chancellor Angela Merkel also knows how to appreciate. From June 2011 Fera was a member of the CDU district executive committee for South Hesse. Steven Brian Fera acted as the voice of the economy in the region during his time as CDU district executive. In addition to his political commitment to the CDU , Fera works as an honorary consul for the interests of the Armenian people.
