Steven Howdle
Steven Howdle (* 1964 in Rotherham , South Yorkshire, England) is a British chemist and director of the School of Chemistry at the University of Nottingham
Career
Howdle earned his PhD with a thesis on the spectroscopy of liquefied noble gases in 1989 after successfully completing his chemistry studies at the University of Manchester in 1983 .
His main research interests are the synthesis of polymers using supercritical carbon dioxide and the processing and manufacture of novel polymers for tissue engineering . Howdle held a fellowship from the Royal Society of Chemistry from 1991 to 1999.
