Stewart Buttress is a cliff up to 1005 m (according to British data 790 m ) high cliff in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the Theron Mountains , it rises 3 km south of the Marø cliffs .
Participants of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) mapped it between 1956 and 1957. They named it after the meteorologist Reginald Horace Anthony Stewart (* 1922), who was part of the advance command of the research trip from 1955 to 1956.
