The Marø cliffs are striking cliffs in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the Theron Mountains they rise up on the southwest flank of the confluence of the Jeffries Glacier in the Bailey Ice Stream .
Participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955–1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs mapped it between 1956 and 1957. It is named after Harald Landmark Marø (* 1917), Norwegian-Canadian captain of the Theron ship on this research trip .
