Stietencron (noble family)
Stietencron is the name of a German noble family .
history
According to Kneschke : “Swedish nobility. Diploma of March 10, 1709 for Johann Ernst Stiete, with the predicate; v. Stietencron created. The same became 1712 k. Danish forest and hunter master in Delmenhorst and later Hanoverian Drost in Nienover. "
The father of Johann Ernst Stiete is Johann David Stiede (* 1611 Erfurt - † 1696 Hemm), royal Swedish major. He was probably ennobled for his services by the Swedish crown (suffix: -kron). He is a son of the poet Ernst Stiede (Stida) (* 1585 Erfurt - † 1632 Erfurt).
Johann von Stietencron, a grandson of Johann Ernst von Stietencron, acquired the Schötmar manor in 1831 . This is known today as " Stietencron Castle ".
coat of arms
According to Kneschke : "A silver pole in blue, which is accompanied on the right by an inward-facing, golden crescent moon with a face and on the left by three six-pointed golden stars standing one below the other."
The coat of arms (approx. 1831–36) in the Schötmar manor shows a silver post in a blue shield, which is flanked on the right by an inward-facing, golden crescent moon with a face to the left of three six-pointed golden stars standing one below the other. On the shield is a crowned helmet, which, between an open ... eagle's wing, carries three blue flags on golden poles, one of which wafts on the right and two on the left. The two outer ones are covered with a gold star, the middle one with the crescent moon on the right side of the shield. The helmet covers are blue and silver.
