The Bürgerermut Foundation is a nationwide non-profit foundation under civil law. Its main goal is the transfer of civic engagement. The foundation is based in Berlin .

Organization and financing

The foundation was founded in April 2007 by the entrepreneur, former Berlin Senator for Economic Affairs and former CDU member of the Bundestag, Elmar Pieroth . The foundation is financed by endowments and donations. The foundation is represented by Katarina Peranic .

Goals and Activities

The Bürgerermut Foundation promotes the transfer of exemplary and innovative engagement on site. For this purpose, she researches nationwide projects with which active people (so-called “world movers”) have overcome social problems. openTransfer
