Foundation of German State Education Centers

The Deutsche Landerziehungsheime Foundation administers the three Hermann Lietz schools : the Hermann Lietz School Haubinda in Haubinda (Thuringia), Bieberstein Castle in Hofbieber (Hesse) and the Hermann Lietz School Hohenwehrda Castle in Hohenwehrda (Hesse).

There is a close partnership with the Insel boarding school Hermann-LIetz-Schule Spiekeroog.

The foundation is affiliated with Die Internate Vereinigung eV (formerly the Association of German Landerziehungsheime), which also includes other Landerziehungsheime in Germany that pursue a similar educational reform approach.
