The Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation (Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson) was founded in the spring of 2003 by Henri Cartier-Bresson , his partner, Magnum photographer Martine Franck , and their daughter Mélanie. It is based in the Montparnasse district (2 Impasse Lebouis, in the 14th arrondissement of Paris ).

The foundation's task is to preserve the artistic lifework of the founder and namesake. Cartier-Bresson's works are stored there and there is a library. Changing exhibitions are shown in the exhibition rooms on the upper floors. The HCB Award, endowed with 30,000 euros, is presented every two years and the winner's works are presented in the Foundation's exhibition rooms.

She also helps with exhibitions of works by Cartier-Bresson, for example together with the Magnum photo agency at the Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibition shown in 2011 at the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg .
