RWZ Science, Technology, Culture Foundation
The RWZ Science, Technology, Culture Foundation is based in Fulda . It was founded in 1991 as a non-profit foundation by 231 donors from the Rhön region.
The purpose of the foundation is to promote science and research, education and upbringing, art and culture, environmental, landscape and monument protection, youth and elderly care and public health in the Rhön region and in the Rhön biosphere reserve .
The purpose of the foundation is fulfilled through the annual award of so-called foundation teaching contracts, subsidies for regional small projects, the annual holding of a symposium with regionally relevant topics as well as an annual foundation award.
