The Apartments for Large Families Foundation is a foundation of the City of Zurich that aims to rent inexpensive apartments and terraced houses to families with at least three children and low incomes. The foundation has 511 apartments, 417 of which have four or more rooms, making it the largest of its kind in Switzerland .

The foundation was established in 1924 by the city of Zurich and is organized in the form of a public law institution with its own legal personality and its own account, which is affiliated with the finance department of the city of Zurich. It is currently headed by a nine-member board of trustees , which is chaired by the head of the city's finance department, currently Daniel Leupi .
