Bastian Clevé

Bastian Clevé (born January 1, 1950 in Munich ) is a German film producer .

Life

Bastian Clevé studied visual communication with a focus on film at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts from 1971 to 1976 . From 1976 to 1977 he was a DAAD scholarship holder for film at the San Francisco Art Institute .

From 1979 he worked in Los Angeles as a writer, director, line producer and producer. From 1983 to 1990 Bastian Clevé worked for the Eagle Rock film production company in Los Angeles .

In 1991 Clevé returned to Germany and built up the production course at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg , which he headed until September 2017.

In addition to numerous short and documentary productions of his own from the early days, he worked as a producer and executive producer on films such as As Far as Feet Carry . Bastian Clevé also publishes numerous specialist books on the subject of film production.
