Stijn van Tilburg (born April 7, 1996 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Van Tilburg was trained at the Beekdal Lyceum in Arnhem and the Radboud University in Nijmegen . He has been appointed to various youth national teams in his country. In the 2014/15 season he played with the Papendal talent team in the Dutch premier league. He then studied at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and played actively in the university team. In 2019 he reached the national final with the team. In summer 2019 he was part of the extended squad of the senior national team . After graduating, the middle blocker went to Italy and played there for the first division club Globo BP Frusinate Sora . In 2020 he moved to the German Bundesliga club Helios Grizzlys Giesen .
