Stone Ridge is a south-west-north-east oriented mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Saint Johns Range , it looms between the Ringer Glacier and the Dahe Glacier . Highest point is 1,550 m of Mount Swinford .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the ridge in 2005 after logistics specialist Brian Stone, who has been involved in various transport missions for the United States Antarctic Program since 1990 .
