The Stony Creek is a short stream in North Carolina . It is formed in Bertie County by the confluence of the Loosing Swamp and Quioccosin Swamp and then flows through a moor and swamp area. Three kilometers further north it flows into Ahoskie Creek at Stony Creek Cemetery in Hertford County . The Stoney Creek belongs to the catchment area of the Chowan River .
