The Storfjord ( North Sami Omasvuotna ) is the innermost part of the Lyngenfjord in the municipality of Storfjord in Troms og Finnmark in Norway . The fjord is 17 km long.

From the inlet between the village of Rasteby in the west and the Falsnesodden peninsula in the east, the fjord leads in a south-westerly direction to the fjord tip at Hatteng .

The village of Skibotn is located just east of the Falsnesodden peninsula . A little further inside the fjord is the village of Elvevoll on the east side and a little further south is the village of Sandøyra . The two villages Elsnes and Horsnes are just opposite on the other side of the fjord . At the heart of the fjord is the Hatteng crime scene. In Hatteng the river meets Signaldalelva into the fjord.

The E6 runs on the east side of the fjord, while the road 868 ( Norwegian Fylkesvei 868 ) runs on the west side.
