Stour
River Stour is the name of several rivers in England :
- River Stour (North Sea) in Suffolk
- River Stour (River Severn) in Worcestershire
- River Stour (River Avon) in Warwickshire
- River Stour (Pegwell Bay) in Kent
- River Stour (English Channel) in Dorset
The naming is controversial, it is believed that it could be derived from the name of the river Stör in Schleswig-Holstein, which was brought to England by the Anglo-Saxons around 450.
