Han tram
The Han tram is a historic tram that connects the center of Han-sur-Lesse and the Han-sur-Lesse cave in the Belgian province of Namur in Wallonia .
The tram line was awarded to the SNCV by royal decision of July 8, 1905 and officially opened on June 1, 1906. During the First World War , the tram was temporarily shut down and reopened on June 13, 1920.
Steam trams ran until 1935, and the service has been running on diesel since then. A motor vehicle is driving that has one or more open sidecars.
Later some small adjustments were made, such as the relocation of the terminus to the entrance of the cave and in 1989 the relocation of the starting point to the church opposite the park.
The tram line is still used to bring tourists from the center of Han to the entrance to the cave.
