history
Strintzis Ferries was founded in 2003 by the brothers Gerassiomos Strintzis and Panagis Strintzis. The newly founded shipping company bought the Kefalonia ferry and the associated operating license from Blue Star Ferries (formerly Strintzis Lines) . The second ship, the Eptanisos , was bought from Taiwan in the year the company was founded . The ships were sold to Ionian / Kefalonian Lines and operations were discontinued in 2012. The Kefalonia is used by Levante Ferries on its former route.
stretch
The shipping company operated two routes in the Ionian Sea twice a day . The route guidance has been changed slightly in recent years to save fuel and time.
