The electricity and water supply center is located in Bremen , Burglesum district, St. Magnus district, Meierhofstrasse 2 / Auf dem Ufer. The house was built around 1902 and has been a listed building in Bremen since 1994 .

The very differentiated, two-storey house made of brick in the basement and ornamental framework on the upper floor, with crooked hip roofs , three gable sides and a rear, three-storey tower with a bell dome as well as several bay windows and a striking staircase was built as a waterworks around 1902 at the turn of the century. A renovation took place in 1954.

In the meantime, Energiequelle GmbH used the building from 2000 until 2015 and moved to the Villa Rauch / Haus Richardson on Rauch's estate in St. Magnus.

It has been used as a private residence since 2015. In 2018, the new owners were awarded the Federal Prize for Handicrafts in Monument Preservation (2nd prize) for the renovation of the outer shell in accordance with the monument.
