Strong is the debut album of the German singer Sebastian Wurth , who became known in 2011 through the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar , in which he finished fifth. It was produced by Christian Fleps, among others.

The album was released on February 10, 2012 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It reached 34th place in Germany, 50th place in Austria and in Switzerland its debut placed 81st place, it stayed there for a week.

Single releases

The first single was You Let the Sun Go Down on January 20, 2012 . It reached number 63 in Germany, fell back to number 89 in the second week and was no longer represented in the third week. In Austria and Switzerland the single did not reach the charts. The second single was The Time Is Right on May 11, 2012.

Reviews

The album received a good review from mix.1 . It was said that Sebastian Wurth had released a fairly mature album for his age and that the title was "aptly chosen".

From laut.de got Strong no good review. It was criticized that the album was musically unimaginative, that it worked on the scheme of "verse, chorus, verse, refrain, C-part, final chorus" and that "the acoustic guitar scraped forever".
