Sebastian Wurth (2018)

Sebastian Wurth (born July 21, 1994 in Wipperfürth , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German pop and hit singer who became known through participating in the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar . In 2011, he finished fifth in season eight. He is also part of the Schlager boy band Feuerherz .

Life

Sebastian Wurth was the youngest participant in the 8th season of the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS), in which he took 5th place. Sebastian Wurth lives with his family in Wipperfürth . He has an older brother. His father Thomas Wurth is a jazz musician and music teacher. Sebastian Wurth occasionally performs with his father's big band . Sebastian Wurth attended the St. Angela Gymnasium in Wipperfürth. On June 24, 2011, his first single Hard to Love You was released by Universal Music . It was represented in the German and Austrian charts from July 8, 2011. In Germany, the single took 18th place and was in the top 100 for six weeks.

The single You Let the Sun Go Down from the album Strong , released on February 10, 2012, could not repeat the success, reached number 63 in Germany and stayed there for two weeks. There was no chart entry in Austria or Switzerland. The single The Time Is Right , released on May 11, 2012, did not make it into the top 100. On August 30, 2013 Wurth released his new single Komm mit ins Leben . The album Atemlos is released on September 13, 2013 , just like the single, completely in German.

Since 2015 Wurth member of the German pop - boyband Fireheart . On March 13th, 2015, they released their first single, Damn Good Day .
