The Studentenwerk Oberfranken is the responsible student union for the University of Bayreuth , University of Amberg-Weiden , University of Coburg , University of Hof and the University for Protestant Church Music Bayreuth .
history
The Studentenwerk Oberfranken, founded in 1978 as an institution under public law , has 200 employees and looks after students at the universities in Bayreuth , Coburg , Hof , Amberg , Weiden and Münchberg . Its services in economic, social and cultural areas provide support in all situations and range from canteen catering, the provision of living space, student funding to childcare and advisory services. Around 25,000 students currently use the offers of the Studentenwerk.
