Studies in Protestant social theology and social ethics

The Studies on Protestant Social Theology and Social Ethics (SEST) are a series of academic books published by Furche-Verlag in Hamburg that appeared between 1958 and 1962. It was founded by Heinz-Dietrich Wendland and presents the range of Protestant social ethics in ten volumes . Volume 1 forms the doctoral thesis by Trutz Rendtorff , supervised by Wendland, and Volume 2, the doctoral thesis by Wolf-Dieter Marsch supervised by Wolfgang Trillhaas and Ernst Wolf . Volume 7 is also the festschrift for Wendland on his 60th birthday.
