Hermann Ringeling

Hermann Ringeling (born January 12, 1928 in Cuxhaven ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

He studied Protestant theology in Bethel and Mainz . After receiving his doctorate on February 5, 1959, he was senior church councilor, parish and student pastor in Hamburg , and from 1964 research assistant at the Institute for Christian Social Sciences in Münster . After his habilitation in 1968, he taught from 1971 until his retirement in 1991 as a professor of theological ethics and anthropology at the Protestant theological faculty of the University of Bern .
