The Studio Hamburg series Werft GmbH Lüneburg is a film production company based in Lueneburg . The business premises as well as two production studios are located in the former European headquarters of Konica Minolta in Lüneburg.

history

In 2006 the production company was founded under the name Multimedia Niedersachsen Film- und Fernsehproduktion GmbH as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Multimedia Film- und Fernsehproduktion , which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Studio Hamburg GmbH . On January 1, 2007 the name was changed to Studio Hamburg Traumfabrik Niedersachsen GmbH . Since October 1, 2008, the company has been trading under the name Studio Hamburg Serienwerft GmbH Lüneburg

The first and so far only commercial production for which the company is responsible is the telenovela Rote Rosen , which has been broadcast on Das Erste since November 6, 2006 . The shooting for this started on August 21 in Lüneburg and has continued since then, with the exception of the 6-week break in shooting in spring 2020 due to the restrictions in the context of the spread of the SARS corona virus 2 . In September 2009, the episodes of the online soap “ Time of Decision” were filmed in the studios . The soap opera in four parts is part of a young voter campaign for the 2009 federal election and a non-profit joint project of the Federal Agency for Civic Education , the Hamburg agency Nordpol +, Studio Hamburg and UFA .
