Stutz (unit)
A Stutz , also Stotz or Kohlenstutz, was a German volume measure for charcoal and was used in Saxe-Gotha .
The dimension was measured in a conical shape: at the top 5 shoe and 9 inches , at the bottom 5 shoe and 7 inches. The height, or rather the depth, of the measuring cup was 1 shoe and 6 inches.

- 1 Stutz = 6950 Parisian cubic inches = 137 ¾ liters
- 1 stutz = 3 quarters (Gothic)
According to another source it was
- 1 Stotz = 6 grain quarters (Gotha) = 8.294106 cubic feet (Wiener) = 261.9708 liters
