Gerhard Mitschke

Gerhard Mitschke (born January 8, 1948 in Dessau ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Gerhard Mitschke attended secondary school from 1954 to 1962 and the EOS from 1962 to 1966 . After completing his professional training as a lathe operator, he studied from 1966 to 1971 with a diploma at the Technical University of Magdeburg . He then worked from 1971 to 1990 at VEB ABUS or the successor company ABUS Getriebe GmbH in Dessau. From 1974 to 1979 he was also an external auditor with a degree in structural engineering at the engineering school for engineering education and construction in Magdeburg. In 1990 he moved to the Dessau employment office.

Gerhard Mitschke, who is of the Roman Catholic denomination, is married and has two children.

Gerhard Mitschke joined the Eastern CDU in 1973 and held various board positions there. From 1974 to 1990 he was chairman of the local association and in 1990 deputy chairman of the district. He was directly elected to the state parliament in the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 in the state constituency of Dessau, City II (WK 26). In December 1991 he resigned from the CDU parliamentary group and from December 1991 to January 1992 he joined the “free parliamentary group” under Joachim Auer . From January 1992 he was non-attached.
