The archaeological site Su Notante with the sanctuary ( Italian Pozzo sacro ) is located in the valley of the river Cedrino (Sardinian Tzedrinu) on the slopes of Monte e 'Senes at 530 meters above sea level, in Irgoli in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia . Directly below is the Ante temple Janna 'e Pruna .

Su Notante is one of the cult sites from the time of the Nuragic culture and was dedicated to the water cult . It includes a temple and other building remains. Ceramic fragments and remains of bronze votives dating from the late Bronze and early Iron Ages (1200-800 BC) were found within the complex .

The natural spring Su Notante, housed in a 1.45 m high chamber, is surrounded by a monumental facade made of worked granite that supports the slope. There is always a small forecourt in front of the cult niche , which has been defaced by construction work. Intact well temples like Su Tempiesu have a more complex shape than nuraghi . They are younger, the Su Notante complex dates back to the 12th century BC. And its stones are very precisely worked. In 1994, Su Notante was excavated.
