Sub Zero Project is a Dutch DJ duo, consisting of Thomas Velderman (* April 19, 1996 ) and Nigel Coppen (* March 9, 1997 ), who became famous for their Qlimax -Anthem 2018 The Game Changer .

Career

The original founder, Nigel Coppen, initially appeared under the name Sub Zero. He came into contact with Thomas Velderman via YouTube . Both are now making music together under the name Sub Zero Project .

In 2017, Sub released Zero Project with The Project , their first hardstyle hit, which led them to get a lot of attention across the scene for their use of psystyle kicks with hardstyle elements. This was also accompanied by a new live act in which the duo's faces were given a new, unmistakable look in the form of their logo.

Music genre

Your music can be largely assigned to the area of raw style, a harder sub-genre of hard style . In some of their productions they resort to individual elements from other areas of electronic music, such as the psytrance- typical kick or melodies of the euphoric hardstyle, while remaining true to their aggressive sound design. Inspirations for their music include Deepack , Code Black , Atmozfears and Phuture Noize.
