Atmozfears , also spelled Λtmozfears or ΛTMOZFEΛRS , is a hardstyle music project by the Dutch DJ and producer Tim van de Stadt (born November 5, 1992 in Enschede ). It was originally founded in 2008 by hardstyle producers Michael Jessen and Kevin Keizer, who brought van de Stadt on board that same year. After they signed a contract with the Scantraxx label in 2012 , they made their breakthrough in the scene with the EP Living for the Future . In 2013, Jessen and Keizer left the project. Since then, van de Stadt has continued the project alone. Between 2012 and 2013 he released house music under the pseudonym TVDS on the Monstercat record label . From 2016 to 2018 he took part in the Seth Hills project led by Sergio van den Heuvel , which is active in the electro-house . Since 2020 he has been part of the TAC team with the hardstyle DJs Code Black and Toneshifterz .
biography
Until 2008: musical beginnings
Tim van de Stadt grew up in a musical family and played the piano at the age of 4. During his youth, his interest developed more and more in the direction of electronic music and sound engineering. At the beginning he made a name for himself in social networks under the pseudonym DJ Vapor, with whom he was already active in hard style. Together with his friend Bart Kuipers he released the duo BK &; T-mothy first official productions in the field of house music. At the age of 17 the producer Joshua Dutrieux, also known as JDX, became aware of him and invited him to his studio in Hollywood, with the aim of directing his musical work in a special direction. After a few months, Stadt returned to the Netherlands and continued to perform there with Kuipers under the name Paranoia.
2008–2013: Foundation and separation of the trio
In 2008 he met Kevin Keizer, who had founded the Atmozfears project with Michael Jessen immediately beforehand. They and the city got to know each other in a forum. They already made their debut with their single The Return . The song was created in cooperation with the Dutch hardstyler Max Force and was released on the Italian record label "Explosive Records". At that time Keizer lived in Canada, Stadt in Germany and Jessen in the Netherlands. In the spring of 2009 the trio met for the first time and the songs Supernatural and Inflicting You were created , which were the first joint collaborations. After they published individual songs on different labels until the end of 2011, “ Scantraxx ” became aware of them in early 2012 and took them on. Their EP Living for the Future was released there in the spring , through which they achieved their first breakthrough in the hardstyle scene.
With regard to the distribution of roles, Keizer said that the city represents the “brain” of the trio and is responsible for the ideas of the productions. Keizer and Jessen make up the faces during the live performances. But before success brought the trio the decisive step, Jessen announced that he was leaving the project. The reason for this was that the orientation of the producer was going in a different direction than that in which the project would develop.
With the departure of Jessen, Stadt Keizer now accompanied behind the mixer and through joint appearances with Brennan Heart , Audiotricz and their protracted idol Wildstylez , the popularity on stage increased. In June 2013, they first appeared on the main stage of the world's largest hardstyle festival Defqon.1 . Only a few days later, Scantraxx announced that Keizer would also be leaving the project. The reason was that from now on he would rather be active in the harder hardstyle scene with his solo project Inferno. Since then, the city has only appeared under this pseudonym. In the following years, in addition to appearances at Mysteryland , Qlimax , Decibel and Q-Base, there were also numerous singles and collaborations with other hardstyle giants.
2014–2016: leading name in the scene
While Atmozfears was mainly active in the field of euphoric hardstyle until mid-2014, he presented two titles with his two collaborations with Audiotricz Raise Your Hands and Reawakening between the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015, in which he also used elements of the Raws for the first time . Together with singer-songwriter David Spekter, he released the song Release in mid-2015, which also gave him a name outside of the hardstyle. A few weeks later a chill version was released with which he mixed the track in tropical house style. He also produced the official Qlimax anthem. Together with Carnage and Ty Dolla $ ign he produced the song Can You Feel It for Carnage's studio album Papi Gordo . This is a mixture of Atmozfear's Euphoric Hardstyle and Carnages Trap style.
In 2016 he founded the ATMO project together with the Dutch DJ and producer Sergio van den Heuvel, who had also previously worked in hardstyle, under which they wanted to become active in the field of electro-house. After they contributed a remix to Hardwell's single Run Wild , they had to change their name for copyright reasons. This is where her current pseudonym Seth Hills was born. At the Ultra Music Festival, Hardwell played a reworked version of Atmozfear's song Raise Your Hands , which was far more aggressive compared to the Moombahton style of their remix. The song was released as a double single with the song Get 'Em .

On June 24, 2016 Atmozfears performed together with Audiotricz at Defqon.1 under the name Allstvrs . There, in addition to their third joint single What About Us, they also presented a track that had not yet been released. In addition, on August 27, 2016, he premiered the long-awaited collaboration with Hardwell , on his last "I Am Hardwell - United We Are" show at the Hockenheimring .
2017: Confrontation with Energyzed
On January 1, 2017 Atmozfears posted a text on Facebook in which he accused the also Dutch DJ and producer Xander Mourits alias Energyzed of having cheated on him in many ways. In the past he taught him a variety of things and supported him because he saw great potential in the young musician. However, he found out through friends, but also through record labels, that Energyzed van de Stadt's project files, kicks as well as other samples and entire demo tracks are said to have stolen, renamed and then sent in and even sold for several thousand dollars. The Facebook entry disappeared after a while and it is believed that they settled out of court.
In the course of the argument, they presented a last single together as a token of their previous good friendship. This was released under the title Fabric of Creation / Age of Gods on January 30, 2017 and accordingly represents a double single. A week later, on February 6, 2017, the fourth collaboration with Audiotricz Handz Up, premiered at Defqon.1 , was released
On July 27, 2017, he and Hardwell released All That We Are Living For as a single. The track, played for the first time in the previous year, appeared in the course of the publication of Hardwell's EP Hardwell & Friends EP Vol. 1 . The piece is sung by the American musician M. Bronx. What is striking about the song is the change in tempo. The break is based on the speed of a house song of 128 BPM and the drop on a hardstyle speed of 150 BPM.
2018 to 2019: hymns and collaborations
At the beginning of 2018 Atmozfears produced the anthem of the Australian festival Midnight Mafia with the song City of Dragons . In addition to a series of solo singles, a collaboration with the Dutch producer Noisecontrollers followed . He was also commissioned to produce the anthem for the 2018 edition of Q-Base . He presented this with the song The Final Mission .
After working with Dutch DJ and producer Demi Kanon for the first time in 2017 for the song Come Together , Atmozfears released the song Yesterday in September 2018 , the vocals of which were contributed by his already multiple singer David Spekter. In addition, there were two collaborations with Devin Wild, with whom he already worked once in 2015. At Breathe , Spekter was used again. In October 2018 they presented their song The Humming at Q-dance presents: Project One , which is a cover version of the song of the same name by the Irish musician Enya . The song quickly achieved great popularity in the hardstyle scene, which continues to this day, but Enya did not make a publication possible because she did not like the song herself and as a result she prohibited the use of her music. A fourth collaboration followed in early 2019 with the track Gladiators .
In 2019 Atmozfears contributed the anthem to the Decibel Outdoor Festival Live Loud in collaboration with LXCPR, which was published on June 24, 2019.
2020: TAC Team and this is my story
In January 2020 van de Stadt premiered their joint project TAC Team together with his long-time friends and colleagues Code Black and Toneshifterz at the I-am-Hardstyle-Germany- Event . The trio announced that they would perform live and publish songs under this name.
Together with Audiotricz, their fifth collaboration, Way of The Wicked , was released on Auditricz 'album A New Dawn on January 30th . Said song contains vocals by MC DL.
On February 19, 2020 Atmozfears published a three-minute video on its social media channels entitled this is my story . In the short film produced by his friend ark.e.tect, he talks about his self-criticism and his difficulties as an artist. In March he released a second video in which he announced that he would release an album of the same name that same year.
Q-Dance announced that Atmozfears would perform at Defqon.1 Festival 2020 under the motto this is my story . Furthermore, a joint appearance with the hardstyle duo Sound Rush would take place as 2 // \\ 1. Said performances could not take place because the Defqon.1 Festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Defqon.1 at home online took place instead. There van der Stadt played a 15-minute set in which he played his new song called home for the first time .
