Wildstylez (born: Joram Metekohy * 7. January 1983 in Veenendaal , The Netherlands ) is a Dutch hardstyle - DJ and music producer . Together with the Alpha Twins , Metekohy was also known as Outsiders , together with Headhunterz he forms the live project Project One . He is co-founder of the record labels Digital: Age and Lose Control Music, and in 2018 he founded the Art of Creation label together with Headhunterz.

Career

Wildstylez in Stockholm (April 2012)

Joram Metekohy started his musical career together with Ruben Hooyer in 2004 under the name Seizure . His first project under the name "Wildstylez" was published by Scantraxx Records, which increased his popularity considerably. In 2008 he started the Project One project together with Headhunterz, which was his breakthrough as a producer. He appeared at numerous major events such as Defqon.1 or Qlimax and is an integral part of the hardstyle scene.

Since November 2010 Metekohy is no longer represented by the Scantraxx label , but founded the Digital: Age label with Noisecontrollers , which he left in February 2013. He then founded the record label Lose Control Music with Max Enforcer.

In January 2013, with Year of Summer, he achieved 3rd place in the Netherlands, the highest chart position of a hardstyle producer to date. In addition, in the same month he received the gold record in the Netherlands for the same title.

In 2016 it became known that Project One would be relaunched with a performance during Qlimax in the Gelredome in Arnhem, which was discontinued after Headhunterz 'temporarily left the hardstyle scene after a last appearance in 2013.

After Wildstylez had already been allowed to produce the Anthem for all editions of Defqon.1 (Netherlands, Australia, Chile), he received this honor in 2017 with Temple of Light at Qlimax, the most important indoor hardstyle festival. In 2018, Metekohy produced his fifth Defqon.1 anthem as part of Project One with Maximum Force .
