He is active in the big room and dirty house as well as the complextro scene and is the owner of the record label "WOLV Recordings".

Until 2013: Entry into the music business

Jordy van Egmond was born on April 22, 1992 in the Dutch city of Leiden. He began teaching himself to produce with the FL Studio software in his bedroom alone. Already there he used his current pseudonym "Dyro". He started uploading his productions on the Internet whereupon the record label "Grapevine Grooves" noticed him and signed him. Laidback Luke also became aware of a forum and published Dyros Lied Klav on his label .

After Hardwell founded his record label " Revealed Recordings " in 2010 and described it as a platform for new talent, Dyro decided to firmly establish himself there as one of the first artists. Dyro made his debut there with his single Daftastic . “Spinnin 'Records” also expressed early interest. In 2012 he worked for the first time with his "Revealed" colleague Dannic . Together they mixed the mix album The Sound of Revealed 2012 . He collaborated with Afrojack for several appearances and studio work .

2013: first live tours

While he was starting his first tour and performing his first appearances in several clubs, he was studying technology, which meant that he had to permanently fly home for exams. In 2013 he started a bus tour through Canada together with his DJ colleagues and best friends Hardwell and Dannic. This took place in connection with "Revealed Recordings" and was the final trigger for the pseudonym "Dutch House Mafia" given by fans. Dyro and Dannic also accompanied Hardwell on his North America tour in the summer of 2013. During the tour, Dyro continued to complete all of his own productions and remix productions. In June 2013, he and Hardwell presented on his compilation album Hardwell presents Revealed Vol. 4 their presents their collaboration Never Say Goodbye , which was sane by the American singer Heather Bright . The song developed into his first major success.

Shortly thereafter, he worked with Tiësto on the song Paradise , which appeared in 2013 on Tiësto's compilation album Club Life: Volume Three, Stockholm . They worked together again in the 310 episode of his "Club Life" podcast. He also mixed an episode with Dannic for the Mixmag mix series [16] and appeared together at the end of 2013 during the Amsterdam Dance Event . In 2013 he rose to number 30 for the first time in 2013 on the DJ-Mag charts as the highest newcomer to number 30.

2014-today: Wolv recordings & single releases

In early 2014, Dyro supported the release of his production Black Smoke with a solo tour through Australia, which he coupled with a performance at the Future Music Festival. He performed shortly afterwards at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami and in April 2014 toured the USA again on the "Revealed" bus with Dannic and Hardwell. In Mao 2014, Dyro released the single Calling Out , which was sung by the singer Ryder. With this he reached the top 10 of the Beatport charts.

In August 2014 Dyro founded his own independent label "WOLV". The first release on the label was his solo single WOLV . Billboard described the song as "a dynamic production that perfectly blends big room with electro and acid influences." On October 14, 2014, Dyro started the Present-X tour together with the Bassjackers , which culminated at the Amsterdam Dance Event on October 15, 2014. The thirty-day tour ended on December 15, 2014 when they released their single X on "WOLV". In addition to Dannic and Martin Garrix, he was one of the keynote speakers at Kickstart Your Carriere and The New Breed at the Amsterdam Dance Event 2014. His long-awaited collaboration with Dannic, which was entitled Radical and now has over 10.5 million views on YouTube, also appeared . In 2014, Dyro was ranked 27th in the DJ-Mag Top 100. In 2015 Dyro released the song Bittersweet together with Conro and singer Envy Monroe on "Revealed Recordings" .

In 2014 and 2015 he headlined clubs like LIV in Miami or the Ministry of Sound in London. He was also booked as a resident DJ for The Light in Las Vegas and the Spade in Ibiza. In 2014 and 2015 he appeared on the main stages of festivals such as Dance Valley, Electro-Zoo, TomorrowWorld , Creamfields in Great Britain and EDC Las Vegas . In 2016 he made his debut at the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium. After two years, Dyro started hosting his own "Daftastic" podcast. Dyro continues to have his radio show on "Bigfish Radio" in the Philippines, which is also broadcast in around 30 other countries.

Dryo only reached number 93 in the 2016 voting of the DJMag , which particularly encouraged Hardwell to appeal about the position of the DJ-Mag charts on a live performance. He emphasized that Dyros had more talent behind the DJ booth than he did and why he was then only in such a low place.

In late January 2017, the full version of his long-awaited collaboration with Complexo producer Dyro Cyborg leaked . The Bigroom track was played by Dyro and W&W at the TomorrowWorld Festival 2014. In spring 2015 they presented a new version at the start, which contains a heavily dyro-heavy Complextro drop, the release of which has been withdrawn. But new rumors continued to emerge about a supposedly free publication, and the demand from fans in social networks did not decrease, which is why the producers blocked the word cyborg on all platforms.
