Dannic, like Tiësto and Hardwell, comes from the Dutch city of Breda. He started his musical career as a DJ and won the Dancetour DJ contest in 2009 , which gave him a performance in front of 10,000 people. In order to develop further, he eventually started experimenting with music production and produced some mash-ups . Hardwell, who had just founded his record label " Revealed Recordings ", quickly became aware of him. The aim of the label was to create a platform for young talent, which is why Dannic published the song Doster there . In the area of producing as well as DJing, he received strong support from Hardwell and Nicky Romero .

His breakthrough came in 2012 with Kontiki , a co-production with Hardwell, with whom he has worked regularly since 2010 under the pseudonym DJ Funkadelic . The song was very successful and was able to develop into a long-running hit, especially at festivals. At the beginning of 2013 his production Clobber was released on the Toolroom Records label , which received a positive response at the Winter Music Conference in Miami.

In 2013 he started a bus tour through Canada together with Hardwell and also newcomer Dyro . This took place in connection with "Revealed Recordings" and was the final trigger for the pseudonym "Dutch House Mafia" given by fans. Dyro and Dannic also accompanied Hardwell on his North America tour in the summer of 2013. He also made several festival appearances there, such as at the Electric Zoo Festival and on the main stage at the Electric Daisy Carnival . He also celebrated success with his single Viper .

In October 2013, Dannic reached number 74 in the list of "Top 100 DJs" by DJ Magazine . In March 2014 he was nominated for “Best Break-Through DJ” at the 29th Annual International Dance Music Awards . In March 2014 he played on the radio stage of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Also in March 2014 he started his video blog "Front of House TV", in which he talks about his productions and appearances. In October 2014, Dannic improved by 44 places to 30th place in the list of the "Top 100 DJs".

In 2015 he appeared as a guest during Hardwell's set at the Ultra Music Festival and together with him presented Survivors , their collaboration with singer Haris. At the Tomorrowland Festival, Hardwell and Dannic presented the tracks Clap , a collaboration with Tom & Jame and Feel Your Love with Sick Individuals, in their sets .

Also in 2015 he founded his own label “Fonk Recordings” with the aim of getting young talents under contract.

In 2016 he released Funky Time with HIIO, Light the Sky with Äirto, an edit of Make It Go by the Swiss duo We Am and Lights Out , a collaboration with Amersy. Dannic also played the warm-up with Kill The Buzz and Funkerman on the last show of the "I Am Hardwell - United We Are World Tour" at the Hockenheimring in front of almost 90,000 people.

Dannic started the year 2017 with the single Noise. The title was created in collaboration with the ex-hardstyle duo DBSTF and, to the amazement of the fans, it was not published on "Revealed-" or on "Fonk-", but on Blasterjaxx '" Maxximize Recordings ". The track was quickly praised and received positive feedback because it stood out from the last, very similar sounding tracks by Dannic.
